What is Physical Therapy (PT)?
Physical therapy focuses on improving large motor skills, such
as walking, balance, and coordination. Our pediatric and adult
PT programs address issues related to muscle tone, strength, and
range of motion. [Image of physical therapy session] Whether
recovering from a stroke or managing conditions like Cerebral
Palsy, our goal is to help patients move safely and confidently
in their environment.
What is Occupational Therapy (OT)?
Occupational therapy helps individuals develop the skills
necessary for the "job of living." For children, this includes
playing, learning at school, and self-care tasks like dressing
and eating. For adults, OT focuses on regaining independence in
daily activities, managing work-related tasks, and adapting the
home environment for safety and accessibility.
