What is Behavioral Therapy?

Behavioral therapy focuses on identifying and reinforcing positive behaviors while reducing challenging ones. For children with Autism and ADHD, this often involves structured interventions that teach new skills, improve communication, and help manage emotions. Our goal is to provide children with the tools they need to interact successfully with others and navigate daily challenges.

Sensory Integration Therapy

Sensory Integration Therapy is designed for children who have difficulties processing sensory information (such as sound, touch, or movement). [Image of sensory integration therapy] Our specialized sensory gyms provide a safe space where children can engage in activities that challenge and organize their sensory systems. This helps improve focus, coordination, and emotional stability.

  • Tactile Processing: Helping children who are over- or under-sensitive to touch.
  • Vestibular System: Improving balance and spatial orientation through movement.
  • Proprioception: enhancing body awareness and coordination.

Our Approach & Benefits

We use a play-based, child-centered approach that makes therapy engaging and effective. By combining behavioral strategies with sensory integration techniques, we see comprehensive improvements in:

  • Social Interaction: Better eye contact, turn-taking, and communication with peers.
  • Emotional Regulation: Fewer meltdowns and improved ability to cope with frustration.
  • Focus and Attention: Increased ability to stay on task in school and at home.
  • Daily Living Skills: Greater independence in self-care routines.
